Some Belgian politicians are talking about "teaching the controversy".
Scary that it is happening right here in my country right now, we have to watch out for religious crap always and everywhere.
There's no English news sources on it and it will probably not reach any level of even national news other than the current opinion pieces and letters to the editor type of reporting (in De Standaard 7/8,13/8 and 15/8)
Of course it's all the other political parties against the catholic party.
Some key names: Luc Van den Brande (CD&V), Cathy Berx (CD&V) on the creationist side and Wouter Blomme (VLD), Karel De Gucht (VLD), Frank Vandenbroucke (SP.A) on the rational side.
